Search Engine Optimization – Google and Page Attributes

-->
Page attributes are vital for getting high ranking on the result pages of search engine. A look at how Google deals with the issue could be an eye opener for many. Of course like most other search engine, Google also takes note of the target keywords included at different places in the webpage for search engine optimization. But there are several other factors that contribute quite considerably to the page attribute according to Google standards. Such standard is also accepted by most leading search engines on the web.

One of the factors that influence the site’s value in the eye of Google is the internal link structure and link popularity of the site. There are two aspects of this particular issue. One is the back links or inbound links that your particular webpage receives from other websites. The other is the number of internal links from other pages that point to the particular target page. Especially for the larger websites, internal link popularity is of great significance.
Getting multiple inbound links will not help. Unless the inbound links come from real good quality sites they will not give you any extra mark or therefore higher ranking. Any back links therefore must be qualitative. Such linking can be most beneficial when you are launching a new website with a clean slate. It is most important to whom you link. Having link to real quality websites and directories could enhance your search engine optimization process quite considerably. In the same analogy, linking to inferior sites could harm your prospect no end.
Always link to relevant sites. That means link to sites that are relevant to your topic.
